Micro Enterprise Development (MED) is a proven way to strengthen small businesses, resulting in increased household income and savings, and thus alleviating the crunch of economic poverty. Your valuable donations will help us provide working capital of Rs. 2,00,000 for unemployed 20 young women and girls for starting up IGAs (Income Generating Activities). Due to their poor economic conditions, banks do not provide them credit support. To receive the loan from BOARD the women have to pay a nominal service charge of 15% annually. 50% of the service charge will be used to pay the salary of the staff involved in micro-credit program and rest 50% of the service charge will be used to sponsor poor adolescent girls for school fee, books-pen, dress etc. for high school education for one year with a written agreement from their parents that they will not marry her till she passes 10th Standard, by which she becomes approximately 18 years of age.
